Steel grade 16GS – structural low-alloy steel for welded structures that meets the requirements of GOST 19281 and DSTU 8541.

Classification: Low-alloy structural steel for welded structures.

Products: plate steel, wide-strip universal, rolled and shaped steel, roll-formed sections.

Application

Steel 16GS is used in the production of high-strength metal structures with welded, bolted or riveted connections, as well as details and parts of steam boilers and vessels that operate under pressure, incl. at elevated temperatures.

Steel grade 16GS has no welding restrictions.
