Principles of management

Metinvest recognises the importance of sound corporate governance and aims to develop its corporate governance system in accordance with international best practices. The Group strives to maintain the highest levels of corporate governance and transparency throughout all of its activities and communications.

Metinvest is a vertically integrated company with strong positions at each stage of value creation: from coal and ore mining, to production and shipment of steel products and pipes to customers. Metinvest is structured into three operating divisions: Iron Ore Mining Division, Coal and Coke Division, Steel and Rolled Products Division. This is the optimal structure for the company providing high transparency and delivering the principal values of Metinvest Group to enhance shareholders value.

Supervisory Board and the Executive Committee are the supreme bodies of management of Metinvest Group. The Board performs strategic management while Executive Committee is responsible for operational management.
