Finished steel products and semis are sold worldwide by the Sales Service of Steel and rolled products division.
The Sales Service comprises four trading companies representing four distribution channels which operate on different regional segments of the market and perform wholesale and retail sales of Metinvest steel products.
In late 2007 Metinvest completed steel sales restructuring - the activity of four former sales companies was harmonized and somewhat simplified thus creating new companies of Steel and rolled products division Sales Service being integrated into the corporate structure of Metinvest Holding. The ultimate objective of the process is to build a unified system for the most effective interaction between production and sales units of the Holding and ensure consistency of goals and objectives – that is to increase financial performance of the whole company.
Eventually, four companies were formed to perform sales activities globally: Metinvest International S.A., “Metinvest-Ukraine”, “Metinvest-SCM” and “Metinvest-Eurasia”.
