Coal mining and processing, coke and chemicals production have a significant impact on environment.

Being aware of the complexity of environmental issues the management of the Division intends to reduce gradually the negative impact on the environment that the production activity can cause.

Our top-priorities in environmental protection:

• Atmosphere protection and reduction of dust and chemical contaminants emission
  use of modern gas and dust trapping equipment at coal-processing plants, reload stations and coal and coke warehouses, chemical plants.
• Water protection and natural resources conservation
  

  Use of closed technological cycle preventing water pollution by highly mineralized technical waters.

• Industrial wastes recycling and recovery
  including reprocessing of beneficiation wastes

• Land reclamation and recultivation
  technical and biological resoiling of dumps and waste lands.

• Strict observation of the requirements of environmental legislation of Ukraine and improvement of environmental protection.
